The Captivating chi Kappa Chapter
The Chi Kappa Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was chartered on March 31, 1981, at the University of Missouri by five remarkable women: Lela Agee, Karen D. Matthews, Xina Wilson Arthur, Ranetta Warren, and Triumphant Rolesta Rogers. Since its establishment, the chapter has achieved numerous milestones that reflect its dedication to scholarship, service, sisterhood and finer womanhood.
Notably, Chi Kappa created Zetas Against Academic Probation (ZAAP) in collaboration with an academic office to help students avoid academic probation and maintain their scholarships. The chapter also celebrated a significant achievement when a Chi Kappa alumna was named the Inaugural Alumni of the Year by Fraternity & Sorority Life. In Fall 2024, Chi Kappa secured 2nd place in the NPHC Step Show, marking their first performance in over a decade. Additionally, the chapter has demonstrated its commitment to unity and community engagement by actively participating in the Unity March. Through these accomplishments, Chi Kappa continues to make a lasting impact both on campus and in the broader community.
