Delta Alpha Sigma Zeta chapter was chartered on August 28, 2023, by ten dedicated Sorors. DASZ serves Springfield, Missouri, and surrounding counties. DASZ strives to have a positive impact within the community through acts of service, volunteerism, advocacy, and education. In support of Bullying Awareness, DASZ partnered with Weaver Elementary and provided 250 students with anti-bullying pins. In support of breast cancer awareness, DASZ created a team of 8 participants and raised money for the Susan G. Komen More than Pink Walk. In support of social justice, DASZ assisted students on the campus of Missouri State University with verifying their polling place and/or requesting absentee ballots. Most recently, DASZ created a team with March of Dimes/March for Babies and is currently raising funds to promote maternal health and wellness.
