The oh so elegant omega epsilon chapter
The Omega Epsilon Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was chartered on October 5, 1975, on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis. Our five chartering members are Roselyn Thigpen, Mary Larde, Beverly Fitzgerald, Darlene Green, and Belinda Harrell. The Omega Epsilon Chapter was reactivated on April 27, 2024, by five determined women: Taylor Robinson, Christina Walker, Chanel Foster, Aun’Nesty Davis, and Kaylia Humphrey.
While Omega Epsilon underwent reactivation, it also expanded, opening membership to women attending Fontbonne University given no chapter has been established there. In less than one year of reactivation, we have held five service events, collected over $100 in donations, and donated over 150 items to local non-profit organizations to support the Greater St. Louis community. Additionally, our members have upheld our first principle of Scholarship by consistently maintaining over a 3.0 GPA, and winning scholarships. The Omega Epsilon Chapter hopes to increase its visibility and make a lasting impact on the St. Louis community, embodying our Founders’ principles, and pushing the overall mission of Zeta forward.
