Upsilon Zeta Zeta (YZZ) was chartered on February 25, 2005 in Grandview, Missouri, by the following sorors: Beardell Abdul-Salaam, Samantha (Barrett) Hughes, Stacy (Brown) Johnson, Denise Bruce, Gloria Evans, Antionette Gordon, Mertha Gordon, Valerie Gray-Jones, April (Harris) Marquez, Sonja Harris, LaTonya Hughes, Stacy Jackson, Yolanda McKinzy, Michelle Morris-Pulliman, Taneeka (Murphy) Howard, Tanesha Nooner, Veronica Watson-Perkins, Stacy Powers-Mints, Glennie Whittaker, and Fakeisha Wright. Members of the Undeniable Uniquely Upsilon Zeta Zeta Chapter have had the esteem honor of representing our chapter in various leadership within our beloved sorority; we the privilege of having one (1) International Officer, two (2) Midwestern Regional Directors, three (3) past Missouri State Directors and one (1) current Missouri State Director.
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority has always been a forerunner in the community, and the members of YZZ have sought to expand on the sorority’s exemplary record as “A Community-Conscious, Action-Oriented Organization.” Over the years, this chapter has been able to grow in many ways, and we will always continue to do the work that is important to our community Upsilon Zeta Zeta supports and uplifts the Grandview community by promoting SCHOLARSHIP, engaging in community SERVICE, demonstrating SISTERHOOD, and exemplifying FINER WOMANHOOD.
